Hi, I'm Kari
I’m a Southern California native with over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. I’m also a consumer myself, which means I understand how confusing, overwhelming, and impersonal insurance can feel, especially when you’re trying to make decisions that actually affect your life, your family, or your business.
Over the years, I’ve seen how often people purchase coverage without truly understanding what it does, what it doesn’t do, or how it will actually show up when they need it. That disconnect is a big reason I decided to start this blog.
My goal is to help people feel more informed, more confident, and more supported when it comes to insurance. I want clients to understand what they’re buying, why it matters, and how their choices protect what’s important to them—without the confusing jargon and pressure that this industry is known for. If something here helps you see your coverage more clearly or raises a helpful question, then I’ve done my job.
A little more about me
I’m actively involved in the Huntington Beach community and currently serve on the boards of both the Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club. Through the Chamber, I enjoy collaborating with other local leaders and supporting our business community. As a Kiwanian, I’m proud to be part of an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children through service, fundraising, and leadership development.
I’m also a proud USC alum (Fight On!) and spend many fall Saturdays with my husband at the LA Coliseum cheering on the Trojans.
Family means the world to me. I’m grateful to work alongside both my daughter and my sister, who help support me and my agency. And when I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my two golden retrievers, Thor and Loki, who bring a lot of joy—and a little chaos—into my life.
